Adamley Textiles is a UK leader in the creation and production of men and women’s luxury printed fabric and accessories. Located at the very heart of silk production in the UK – Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Adamley has drawn on the skills and experience of local silk dyers and printers to keep the traditional Macclesfield hand-printed silk alive. Utilising local Peak District water sources, Adamley practices ancient methods of the dyeing, printing and finishing of bespoke fabrics to create premium printed fabrics and accessories.
Half a century of silk printing
Adamley has been printing on silk since the 1970’s, specialising in artisan production and age-old hand printing techniques. More recently, we have introduced cutting-edge digital printing technology to meet the modern day demands of an ever-changing market.
High quality craftsmanship is at the heart of what we do at Adamley. The creation of our custom printed silks is carried out entirely at our headquarters, executed through highly skilled artisanship to achieve the distinctive look and authenticity associated with a Macclesfield print.

Adamley is home to one of the world’s most extensive historical print archive. Our capsule of vintage textile designs stretches back through centuries, and has led us to acquire an exclusive collection of intricate prints, designs, paisleys and geometric shapes.
