Adamley Textiles has been the leader in the creation and production of men and ladieswear luxury printed fabric and accessories for more than 50 years. The product’s creation is carried out in the company’s headquarters in Langley, just outside the historic town of Macclesfield.

Macclesfield silk

Sitting at the very end of the silk road, nestled in the foothills of the Pennines, Macclesfield was once the centre of the English silk weaving industry and the world’s largest producer of finished silk.

Just two miles outside of town is the village of Langley, where Adamley Textiles is located. The site is close to a water supply, the river Bollin, and thanks to this extraordinary position Adamley has been able to source water from its very own reservoir, producing printed fabric here for now over 50 years.

The mill houses an extensive collection of archive designs, including the internationally renowned David Evans Archive dating back to the 1800’s.

With this wealth of knowledge, Adamley has been at the forefront in producing men’s and women’s luxury fabrics and accessories. Combining tradition and technology, the company is able to provide traditional screen printing and modern digital printing to suit the requirement of each customer.

Traditional printing techniques have become virtually obsolete, however Adamley have always manufactured using long-established methods achieving a distinctive look and authenticity associated with a Macclesfield print.
